It has been a while that I promised I’d submit a daily bible treasure. This is a time
for new resolutions and to make it happen. I’m planning to share some extracts from my
daily bible reading. I trying my best to post something at least once a week. I wish that
The Lord bless you with all this.
Este es un inicio de algo que quiero emprender. Un mensaje semanal de lo que estoy
aprendiendo al estar estudiando la palabra de Dios. El propósito es compartir lo
que Dios me permite aprender cada día.
This time I have the opportunity to share some of the lessons learned on my career. I went to Zacatecas city for the 2017 CISOL which is an Open Source conference that gathers students and professionals from all the country for sharing Open Source related projects.
I’ve been invited to this event since 2 years ago, on last conferences I usually shared very technical talks about Open Source cloud project like OpenStack, CIAO and Docker.
As member of the OpenStack GDL community this was the first time I present a topic there.
I talked about the Containers trending technologies and they’re affecting the Cloud ecosystem, in this case OpenStack. How OpenStack is driving the efforts for delivering Container as a Service and also deployment of OpenStack on top of Containers.
If you want to take a look on my presentation, feel free to take a look on it and comment.
This time I had an opportunity for presenting at Ameca, Jalisco. I presented at the CUVALLES university.
My talk was about some of the key features of Golang, Python and C/C++ programming languages. But, this was not the main reason I choose this topic. The idea is to explain the process for choosing a good programming language for your project. It’s not about the language, it’s about the problem you want to solve and which are the features a programming language can offer you to solve the problem.
I had the opportunity to share some of the Big Data approaches that OpenStack is offering with the Sahara project. With Sahara, you can deploy Hadoop and Spark clusters inside OpenStack infrastructure.
The forum I presented this was at the Datalab Community
If you want to take a look on my presentation, feel free to take a look on it and comment. Big Data in the Cloud? Yes, you can do it in OpenStack
This is talk I gave a Zacatecas City about OpenStack. Basically, this is an introduction that explains the origins of Cloud computing, some key cloud concepts and how OpenStack delivers Infrastructure as a Service.
